I think the plants are expensive. Are they?
No. They are living plants and are in excellent condition as a result of the time, care, and material costs that have gone into developing them.

How many plants do I get for $ value?
This will depend on the variety of plants hired, whether they are a speciality or from our standard range. They will all be in the best condition possible and be seasonally available.
What is your maintenance service?
This extra service ensures that there is sufficient water in the pots. The maintenance services checks for pests and diseases and feeds the plants with the necessary liquid food. The service would be required if the hire period extended into two hire periods (i.e. two weeks) and is also dependent on climatic factors (especially during the heat in summer).
Are the flowers going to stay on the plant?
Yes, especially if the flowers are buds or just formed. If the flowers are nearing the end of their term they may fall off in transit.
What are the benefits of hiring these plants?
The benefits are many. The plants will greatly improve the aesthetics of the venue. Plants provide a more comfortable environment for people, encouraging them to relax and be happy. They can also be used for screening unsightly areas of a venue.
What will these plants do for our function?
Our plants provide that extra finish and will bring fragrance and colour into the venue. They will highlight the important focus areas of the function and provide a natural ambiance.
Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard or cheque.
For private functions a deposit of 25% will be required on acceptance of the quote and C.O.D. at premises prior to setting up.
For corporate events a 25% deposit will be required on acceptance of the quote and the balance paid no longer than 30 days from the date of the quote.
All our prices are GST inclusive.
Are the plants live or artificial?
The plants are live, that is one of the most important differences.
Will we be able to smell the perfume?
Yes, depending on the type of plant, your proximity to the plant, and if it is a flowering plant.
What kind of packages do you have?
We provide packages for particular events β for example engagements, weddings and conferences β that can be designed to suit the occasion. All packages include GST, freight and bonus plants. The packages suit all tastes.
Can I hire the plants at anytime of the year?
Yes. All our plants are available for hire all year round. However, as foliage is a major attraction, please note that flowering plants only flower for a seasonal period.
How long are the hire periods?
The hire period is for one day to one week. That is plants can be hired out for a maximum of one week. If the plants are required for longer than one hire period our maintenance service would also be required to ensure that the plants remain in the condition that they were delivered in.
Who maintains the plants during a hire period?
A Green Celebration will maintain the plants at a moderate extra cost.
Are your packages flexible or definite?
The packages can be added to but this will cost more. Remember that all packages include the bonus plants.
Conditions would apply if a discount was given.
Do you pick up and deliver the plants?
Yes. We deliver and pick up the plants. Freight for inner Melbourne (15km from the GPO) - $60.00; outer Melbourne - $70.00.
Yes. We provide free quotes for numbers and designs.
Is there a minimum number of plants that have to be hired?
Yes. The minimum number of plants to be hired is six.
